Service was excellent. Filet of beef was very tender. The twice baked potato was great.

Now that Sauce-Goughis no more, this will become my new go-to place in San Francisco's Hayes Valley neighborhood. Has a real "where everyone knows your name" vibe.

Great place , great food , definitely a must try for anyone walking by or a night out.....

I had the chicken and waffles at brunch. The waffle was fluffy, chicken was crispy and juicy. Absolutely nothing to complain about.

Good hang out in Hayes that is not overly crowded.

Repeat: ChirpÂ®ï¸ Is the sound of NextelÂ®ï¸ That were popular when the Organics were with the boys serving. ^Under DON leadership^

Very tasty meal and top notch service. Menu is a bit limited.

Came here for dinner and order the chicken dish. It was delicious, but sooo much food. Definitely enough for two people or to take home. The staff was friendly and it was an overall nice environment. They have a bar that is next door/attached - they have a few TVs where you can watch some sports games.

The bartenders on the bar side and the restaurant side have always been so nice and make delicious drinks!

Nice place for american food. Super savory. The service was very kind and attentive. Bring your hunger - portions are filling.

Cool joint connected to a restaurant in the back. Plenty of TVs, but a little light on seating and beers on tap. Would come here in a pinch.

Our favorite place to go before a show at SF Jazz. Service, food and cocktails are always top notch!

Brunch menu kind of a disappointment. Quite limited, no really appealing seafood entrees. Everything a bit bland and some so-so presentation, not that I care very much about presentation personally. I don't think we're in Westchester County anymore, Toto. (Yup - a misquote) Smooth service and gracious welcome, value priced wine list.

Wonderful service made the evening before our ballet! Food was excellent. I liked this visit more than a recent visit to Jardiniere.

Good food. Took awhile to get our food but deeeelish

Really enjoyed our dinner here. Close to the show and staff was considerate of our timing. I liked the food better than the drinks. Drinks were too strong/alcohol flavored for my taste. Food was awesome though. Next time I’ll have wine.

Great food and service in a casual place.

Bright and open atmosphere with delicious food and a deep drinks menu. There's the restaurant and also the sports bar next door but both feature TVs to watch the game. Friendly, tattooed Wait staff are very eager to help you make the right decision early on, and ensure you're satisfied through the night. They even let you put the tables together when your small, quiet group turns into a large party. Will definitely head back soon.

Bartenders are the best in town

My preferred place for delicious American food. definitely one of the best places in the area. had a sister come into town and asked me to take her here again. it has a good atmosphere.

East coast vibes in a west coast restaurant. The food was good, nothing overly spectacular just decent eats. I wish they had a couple of vegan options but otherwise a lovely place to have a meal.

The food was delicious, the staff were friendly and helpful with food and wine choices, and the environment was nice and classy (but not too much so). I loved the brussel sprouts appetizer and the fettuccine with bolognese sauce and meatballs. The sauce had really great flavor, but you need to like olives to get this dish. I recommend this place!

The food is descent. Nothing innovative but good classics. It's a little weird if you are dining here after 8. The previously packed dining room is completely cleared out as people leave to attend the symphony. You may find yourself alone in an empty restaurant

Good service, excellent food, and a solid drink list. Perfect spot just before a ballet or symphony event!
Gladys Chandler
Excellent quality and great price. Conveniently located near Davies Hall, S.F.

Outstanding site for delicious American food. Staff treated us so nice.

Nomz. Went here for dinner after an evening lecture on a weeknight. Food was scrumptious - we both got the ravioli - and the atmosphere was the right mix of casual and elegant. A treat.
Brad Chilcoat
Nicely places for a reasonably priced quick bite before the Opera, symphony, or the ballet.

This restaurant has fantastic service and a cute ambiance. The food was good, nothing to rave about, but everything was cooked perfectly and was flavorful. The portions were quite huge, we ended up having to take some home. Nice place to visit if you’re in the mood for some classic American fare with friendly service.

I'm a gluten-free vegetarian and they put together a fantastic tasting menu. What more can I say?

Limited menu, but each dish well executed. Reasonable prices too

Good food, friendly service, convenient to theaters! Perfect brunch for our three generations.

Avoid the Roasted Bone Marrow. They don’t cut the bone along its length so it’s hard to get at the marrow. Otherwise, most of the food on their menu is quite good. Service is excellent and overall Dobbs Ferry is a good value for Hayes Valley.

Food was good and the donut holes for dessert we're awesome!

A thoroughly enjoyable dining experience! The food was superb and beautifully plated. The service was excellent. Just two blocks away from the symphony, opera, and Civic center, this is a great find! I plan to return many times.

I love this place. The food is always great, they service is always great, and there is never a big line. The same cannot be said for many other spots in Hayes.

Nice bar. Was walking by and it looked inviting enough to stop in and have a couple of beers. Pleasant vibe, nice staff.
